Tempest” implies storm and chaos; “Glass” suggests fragility and clarity.
My photography lives somewhere between the two — capturing raw energy alongside quiet, honest detail.

Tempest & Glass is a hobbyist photography project centered on authenticity over polish. I focus on capturing real moments using natural light, minimal editing, and an emphasis on personality rather than perfection. In an age of AI-generated imagery and heavy post-processing, my goal is to keep the work grounded and honest — preserving moments as they actually happened.

I’m drawn to images that feel natural and lived-in, favoring real expressions and real environments over heavy retouching or AI-driven edits. My approach is intentionally restrained, allowing the subject’s presence, craft, and emotion to speak for itself.

This project exists primarily as a creative outlet and portfolio. I occasionally offer free portrait sessions — especially at conventions and events — as a way to collaborate with interesting people and create meaningful, authentic work.

Tempest & Glass is ultimately about atmosphere, light, and truth in the moment.
